Jiezhou Bozhou expressway is the JieXi Daxi Boluoshi dam section project of Shantou Zhanjiang (Shantou Zhanjiang) Expressway (hereinafter referred to as Jiezhou Bozhou Expressway). It was officially started in June 2013 and is planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2015. This project will become the second expressway connecting Guangzhou and Shantou. After opening to traffic, the drive from Guangzhou to Shantou will be shortened from the current 5 hours to 4 hours. At the same time, Zijin County of Heyuan and Jieyang and Jiexi County will also bid farewell to the history of no expressway.
