Wu Jingwu: Working together to develop fully hydraulic vibratory rollers

Road roller is the leading product of compaction machinery in my country. At present, among the road roller products in my country, vibratory rollers account for about 86%, and mechanical vibratory rollers account for more than 60% of the total vibratory rollers. Mechanical vibratory road roller is a unique road roller product in my country. It is a product when the hydraulic parts in our country cannot meet the working requirements of road rollers and it is very difficult to import. It has played a very important role in promoting the technological progress of my country's compaction machinery and the development of the compaction machinery industry. Mechanical vibratory rollers have played an important role in the construction of infrastructure such as highways, railways, airports, water conservancy, hydropower, oil fields and mines in my country, and have made great contributions to the development and modernization of my country's national economy.


        However, compared with the full hydraulic vibratory roller, the technical performance of the mechanical vibratory roller is not as advanced as that of the full hydraulic vibratory roller, except for the lower price. There are disadvantages such as large resource consumption, small compaction capacity, poor passing performance, no infinitely variable speed, inconvenient manipulation, and poor safety. It is a medium and low-grade road roller product. Under the circumstance that my country's compaction machinery industry is relatively weak and my country's economy is relatively closed, it is completely correct for us to vigorously develop mechanical vibratory rollers. Now, great changes have taken place in all aspects. Although mechanical vibratory road rollers still occupy a large market in my country, no matter from the perspective of my country's compaction machinery industry from large to strong and the needs of industrial technology development, or from my country's In order to survive and develop in the fiercely competitive market environment, compaction machinery manufacturers must vigorously develop full-hydraulic vibratory rollers.


        After more than 60 years of development, my country's compaction machinery industry has made great progress and brilliant achievements. The annual sales volume of road rollers has reached about 20,000 units, accounting for about 1/4 of the world's road roller sales. my country has become a major country in the production and use of compaction machinery in the world. However, there is still a certain gap compared with the world's most powerful countries in the production of compaction machinery. On the whole, the main difference is that the overall level of my country's road roller products is relatively low, the proportion of low-value-added mid-to-low-grade products is large, and the high-value-added high-end products have a small proportion. The overall technical level of the product is low and the competitiveness is not strong. It is mainly reflected in the large production and sales volume of mechanical vibratory road rollers, while the sales volume of full hydraulic vibratory road rollers is very small. Moreover, some of the fully hydraulic vibratory rollers sold in my country are products of foreign-funded enterprises. Therefore, the proportion of fully hydraulic vibratory rollers sold by domestic enterprises in my country is smaller.


        The technology of mechanical vibratory rollers is backward, and its technical performance and profitability cannot compete with full hydraulic vibratory rollers. Therefore, we must adjust the product structure, speed up the upgrading of product technology, vigorously develop full-hydraulic vibratory road rollers, and improve the overall level of my country's road roller products, in order to promote the development and technological progress of my country's compaction machinery industry, and transform from a compaction machinery manufacturing country to a compactor Machinery manufacturing powerhouse.


        The current development trend of compaction machinery technology in the world is towards the direction of electromechanical-hydraulic integration, automation, intelligence and robotics. In recent years, with the development of modern new technology, especially the rapid development of high technology such as microelectronic technology, automatic control technology and computer technology. Several generations of intelligent vibratory rollers have been developed in Germany, Sweden and other countries and have been put on the market. my country's intelligent road rollers have just started, and the gap with the world's advanced technology of compaction machinery is relatively large. The automation, intelligence and robotization of road rollers cannot be realized on mechanical vibratory rollers, but can only be realized on fully hydraulic vibratory rollers. Therefore, in order to catch up with the advanced technology level of compaction machinery in the world, my country's compaction machinery must also vigorously develop fully hydraulic vibratory rollers.


        Now that my country's economy has been integrated into the world economy, the world's well-known road roller manufacturers have already set up camps in China, and China's compaction machinery market has been internationalized. In order to survive and develop, my country's road roller production enterprises must not only occupy the domestic market, but also go to the world and occupy the international market. Now my country's road roller manufacturers have been unable to avoid the fierce competition with the world's compactor power in the domestic and foreign markets. Only by taking the road of developing high-end products and occupying the high-end market can production enterprises have strong vitality and prosper. Foresighted Chinese road roller manufacturers should start from the height of enterprise development strategy, pay attention to and vigorously develop high-end products of full hydraulic vibratory road rollers.


        After decades of development, my country's full-hydraulic vibratory road rollers have a good foundation. The full-hydraulic vibratory road rollers of major manufacturers of road rollers have formed a series, and the technical level of the products has also approached the world's advanced level. In 2011, the annual sales volume of XCMG's full-hydraulic vibratory rollers exceeded 1,000 units, and the annual sales volume of full-hydraulic vibratory rollers from Sany Heavy Industry, Xiamen Industrial Sanzhong, Liugong Road, Luoyang Lutong and Cooltech Heavy Industry also reached 300-600 units. . Some road roller manufacturers in my country are working hard to develop fully hydraulic vibratory roller products.
